About
I started learning Java when I was 11 years old because I wanted to make Minecraft mods. I loved overcoming the challenges of programming and the feeling of creating something of my own. Throughout the rest of grade school I learned Python and C#, the two languages I use professionally today.
I am a first year Software Engineer who's had the pleasure of helping develop several backend servers, microservices, and full stack applications.
Outside of work I manage a handful of side projects and write about what I'm learning in my blog.
Projects
CLI password manager + encrypted file tree
Portable encrypted file tree and password manager CLI, written in Rust. A master password unlocks a SHA-256-derived AES-GCM key that encrypts both secrets and arbitrary files in a single vault.
Cross-platform mobile app
Helps UNT students navigate campus food resources around dietary needs and preferences. Team project following an AGILE workflow.
Concurrent personal server in Go
Locally hosted server that concurrently runs FTP, HTTP, and email services plus a cron-like scheduler using Go's concurrency primitives. Tested end-to-end with Postman.

Experience
SUMMER 2025 – Present
My team is primarily focused on developing AI-based doc intelligence microservices at scale. My work ranges from scaling LLM API calls to making embeddings based classification services. My time at Rocktop has been spent developing and maintaining the core GenAI microservices as well as building two full stack products leveraging the GenAI ecosystem.
Summer 2025
Application development with a focus on generative-AI tooling. Built a VSCode extension, a standalone CLI, and an Azure DevOps extension that integrated an Angular front-end with C# and Python back-end services.
SUMMER 2022
Worked on Incorta Cloud data pipelines and analytics integrations using SQL and Python.
